Sustainable Development Goal #4 “Quality Education” #becausephysicalenvironmentisimportant #safeequalspeaceofmindtolearn #everyoneeatstogetherLike family the students eat together; there are no differentiation of groups. #inclusionA little inclusion is a sign of hope towards successful inclusion in the future! The classroom is where most students spend their day so it should be welcoming and feel safe. In this specific classroom you can see that there is not much technology for this modern world. The old blackboard and chalk sometimes causes allergies to the children, which can also be a distraction. Many of the students are well behaved while they wait for their teacher, this shows discipline, or are the rule so strict that it sometimes feel like ‘jail’ to them. “I came to do the time and leave” #educationisnotonlyaboutbooksThe picture above depicts what socializing in a school environment is like on a ‘day off’. Day off referring to being outside the classroom and just having fun. It is very important to have a stress free environment just as a safe physical environment to promote quality education. In participating in these events, they allow for student to learn to corporate with each-other, support each other, teamwork, and socialization skill which are helpful to be productive in the classroom and in the ‘real-world” #ministryofeducationbuildingOWThis building is open to the public including teachers to provide information when it comes to educational need of all. However, it is not in a central location and the infrastructure is not of the best quality for you to arrive to this destination. In trying to promote inclusivity, this building has its limit when it comes to physical disabilities like a wheelchair. For a place that should be taken into account for quality education, there is not much for inclusivity for the physically challenged person. There should be a balance of focus towards the physical environment, academic, emotional and vocational skills towards achieving “quality education for Belize”.
